Restoring faith, hope and providing opportunities
The Lewisburg Food Locker
The twice yearly distribution of food to those in need and to our three local homes for the elderly and infirm.
This assistance allows low income persons to stretch their grocery dollars and enjoy a healthier diet. This ministry is supported by the churches of the Greater Lewisburg Community located at the Old Stone Presbyterian.

Food for Thought - Outreach
The monthly gathering of food items and cleaning supplies to support the county's western end food bank.
A basket is kept at the entrance door of the church. If you have any items you would like to contribute just drop it by.
The Quilt ministry is to comfort the sick, the troubled, and our military men and women in harm's way. This outreach ministry combines the gift of prayer with the gift of a hand tied quilt. The idea of these prayer quilts is simple. Heavy thread is used to stitch through the quilt and left free to be tied in a square knot. As each knot is tied a silent prayer is said for someone in special need who will then receive the quilt.
If there is someone special you feel is in need of prayer call the church office at 304-645-2588 or email us at email@example.com

Twelve Step Program
St. James' is home to AA, NA, and Alanon meetings most days and evenings of the week. Contact the church office for current days and times.
This is also a ministry in
which everyone can participate (and we hope you will!). When there is a need for prayer, whether for
yourself, family or friends, please pass that along to either Trish in the
office, Father Josh or to Mary Lou Lumsden.
The request for prayer will be sent out by E-mail, along with a
prayer. When you receive this request,
your response is easy (but very important).
Stop where you are and pray for that person or family or situation. If you are not receiving these requests and
would like to participate, let us know.
Your E-mail address (or phone number) will be added.
This ministry helps to support each other during difficult
times by sending cards, meals or
call just to see how we can help. This card
ministry will also send cards for birthday’s, anniversaries,
births of babies or any other reason to celebrate. If you are
interested in participating, contact us at the church office 304-645-2588 or email us at email@example.com
